Dress for the Friday you want
My end-of-cycle gift to Asma was a hit! She’s so excited to dive into these beautiful books by @em_llojo, which sound like they’ll be right up her alley. And thank you so much @realsesmith for sending these add-ons! Asma and I are both very much sticker people and loved immediately finding homes for them within the books! (Sparkles on the desk in the first shot are from me spilling tiny gems while moving stuff out of the way, par for the course.)

Week 12 of #yearofnew2023: Went to @the_confetti_project’s Celebration Lab for some reflecting, some journaling, and a LOT of confetti throwing!
OK all, this life hack is not as universal as the lemon basil water one but I have in fact been listening to Enya’s “Wild Child” every day while writing my affirmations and it really does feel like this. I have no idea if anyone is interested in affirmations but if five people comment or DM me about it I’ll do a future post about them, including how I chose mine and sources to find your own. I can also suggest some musical alternatives if Enya is not your vibe (“Hair of the Dog” by Nazareth seems like it would also work).
In a shocking twist of events, February was actually pretty good! Every single day, I meditated, worked out, studied French on Duolingo, wrote in my journal, and used 2-4 skincare devices while watching motivational videos on TikTok. Some highlights:⁣
My face has been doing this thing called aging where sometimes I am absolutely unrecognizable to myself. None of these are filtered but I feel like I look different in all of them??? Apparently I was supposed to have experienced this previously, but this is the first time in my life that I feel like I have no idea what I actually look like. Anyway @camocambhair gave me this amazing haircut, which I copied from a French influencer, and I already feel way more nonchalant.
If you learn one life hack from me, it should probably be to floss in the shower. But should you choose to learn a second life hack from me, this be the verse.
